The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen takes care of and manages the Founder’s Vision Overlook on Wintergreen Drive. The Founder’s Vision Overlook has been and will be the site of countless photographs, marriage proposals, meaningful conversations, relaxing moments, decisions to go skiing, and views that will leave you breathless. The Founder’s vision overlook is one of the more popular privately-owned mountainside overlooks in the eastern United States. The viewing platform contains several detailed exhibits covering the region’s history, geography, ecology, and a few species of wildflowers.
